Equity
Equity represents the owner of the assets of each partner in the company. In simple words how much each stockholder or owner of the company will get after selling the assets and paying debts.
Equity is part of the balance sheet which is extracted by reducing total liabilities from total assets. It is the last item on a balance sheet.
